Advocates for International Development
A4ID brings together the legal and development professions to gain maximum impact in achieving the Millennium Development Goals. We do this both by facilitating free legal support for those working to end poverty and by raising awareness of how the law and lawyers can play a role in social and economic development.
Engineers Without Borders: Edinburgh Branch
Engineers Without Borders Edinburgh is a branch of the student-led charity which allows young engineers in the UK to make a difference.
They focus on raising awareness of technology's role in human development, and in overseas placements.
Tools for Self Reliance
TFSR support grassroot development in Africa by providing refurbished tools and the training to use the tools. TFSR work closely with partner organisations in Africa and the UK to deliver effective aid to artisans in poor communities.
TFSR ship refurbished tools and sewing machines worth more than £600,000 each year to support the poverty fighting programmes organised by their partners.

Nabuur's mission is to give communities in developing countries access to their global Neighbours via the Internet. And through these Neighbours to the huge reservoir of resources (knowledge, solutions, energy, creativity) that is available elsewhere.
It brings communities in developing countries into direct contact with committed individuals worldwide who want to assist them. These virtual Neighbours can help by finding the resources needed by the community.
